Quick answer
What is the Stormwater course?
This course covers stormwater systems on construction and municipal projects. Learners work through the components of a stormwater system, including channels, pipes, culverts and catch pits, and how water is graded and directed away from roads and buildings. The training includes installing and jointing pipes, setting levels and falls, and checking and maintaining existing systems. The outcome is a worker who understands stormwater drainage and can carry out installation and maintenance work to a sound standard.

Frequently asked questions
How much does stormwater training cost?
Stormwater is quoted per booking, because the price depends on group size and delivery mode. Email info@rehtraining.co.za for a quote and we will respond with a figure for your group. Prices are negotiable for group bookings. Training can be delivered online, at our Midrand or Durban centres, or on site at your premises.
How long does the stormwater course take?
Duration is quoted per booking and depends on group size and delivery mode. Daily classes at our centres mean no waiting period, so a small group can start within days. On-site training is scheduled around your project programme. Email info@rehtraining.co.za or call 010 746 6954 to confirm duration and dates.
Is stormwater training for plumbers only?
No, the course suits anyone working with drainage on civil or building sites, including pipe layers, general workers and maintenance teams. Plumbers will recognise some of the jointing work, but the course is built around stormwater systems specifically, not domestic plumbing. If you are unsure whether it fits your role, email us and we can advise.
Can you train at our site?
Yes, on-site training at client premises is a standard delivery mode, and it suits stormwater work because learners can practise on the actual ground conditions. We also run classes at our centres in Midrand and Durban. Send your location, crew size and dates on email info@rehtraining.co.za, and we will put together a quote.
