What is the Health & Safety for Supervisors course?

Health and safety for supervisors focuses on the legal and practical duties of people who oversee others at work. Frequently asked questions

How much does the Health & Safety for Supervisors course cost?

The course costs R700 per learner and runs for one day. Group bookings are negotiable, and daily classes mean no waiting period. You can attend online, at our centres in Midrand or Durban, or we can train at your premises. Email info@rehtraining.co.za to book or to get a group quote.

What is the difference between this and the SHE Rep course?

The SHE Rep course prepares elected or appointed representatives for their statutory role, while this course is aimed at supervisors who manage people and work. Supervisors need to enforce safety, correct unsafe behaviour and run day-to-day safety in their teams. Both are one-day courses, and many companies send their supervisors for both. Email us at info@rehtraining.co.za if you are unsure which suits your team.

Do I need experience before I can do this course?

You do not need formal safety training, but some workplace or supervisory experience helps. The course builds on what supervisors already know about their work and adds the legal and practical safety duties that come with the role. If you are new to supervision, the course is still suitable. It runs over one day with daily classes available.

Can you train at our site?

Yes. We bring the training to your premises anywhere in South Africa, which is a popular option for companies with several supervisors to train. Online and centre-based options are also available at our Midrand and Durban centres. Group pricing is negotiable. Email info@rehtraining.co.za with your location and number of delegates for a quote.
