Frequently asked questions
How much does the Plumbing General Skills course cost?
Pricing depends on group size and delivery mode, so the best way to get an exact quote is to email us at info@rehtraining.co.za. The course runs as daily classes with no waiting period, so you can start as soon as you book. Prices are negotiable for group bookings, and we can deliver at your premises if you have a group to train.
How long does the course take?
The full programme runs over 4 to 6 weeks and combines theory with hands-on practical training. The theory phase takes 8 days and covers plumbing principles, tools, materials, and reading basic diagrams. After that you move into practical work. Daily classes mean you do not have to wait for a set intake date before you start.
Do I need experience before I can do this course?
No. This is an entry-level programme at NQF Level 2, designed for people with little or no plumbing background. You start with plumbing principles, tools, and basic legislation, then build up to installing and maintaining fittings like toilets, basins, and showers. If you already work in maintenance, the course also works as a refresher and skills top-up.

Yes. We offer on-site training at client premises, plus centre-based classes in Midrand and Durban. The Midrand centre is at 14 Douglas Road, Glen Austin, and the Durban centre is at 62 Lilian Ngoyi Street, Windermere. For group bookings, on-site delivery is often the most practical option.
