What is the difference between First Aid Level 1 and Level 2?
First Aid Level 2 builds on Level 1 and goes further into workplace requirements, prioritising treatment and managing medical emergencies. It is aligned to unit standard 120496, while Level 1 is aligned to 119567. Both cost R650 and run over one day. How much does First Aid Level 2 cost?

Can I do First Aid Level 2 without Level 1?
You can, but Level 2 assumes the basics covered in Level 1, so most learners do Level 1 first. The course covers workplace requirements, scene assessment, basic life support and treatment of injuries and medical emergencies.
