Frequently asked questions

How much does Scaffolding Supervisor training cost?

The course costs R700 per person and runs for one day. Prices are negotiable for group bookings, and we can train on site at your premises. Daily classes also run at our Midrand and Durban centres. Email us at info@rehtraining.co.za to book or to ask about a team rate.

What is the difference between a scaffolding erector and a supervisor?

An erector builds, alters and dismantles scaffolds. A supervisor plans and oversees the work, checks that erection and dismantling follow safe procedures, conducts inspections and manages compliance records. This course builds the supervisory and inspection skills you need to take responsibility for scaffolding safety on site. It runs for one day and costs R700 per person, with group rates available.

Do I need experience before doing this course?

Yes, some practical scaffolding experience is strongly recommended. Supervisors need to understand how scaffolds go up and come down before they can oversee a team. If you are new to scaffolding, start with the Scaffolding Erector course and move up to the supervisor course later. Experienced erectors ready to step into supervision can book directly.

Can you train our supervisors on site?

Yes. On-site training lets your supervisors review their own scaffolding operations, tagging systems and records under instruction. We also run daily classes at our centres in Midrand and Durban. Group pricing is negotiable, so email us at info@rehtraining.co.za with your team size for a quote, or call 010 746 6954.
